Dr. Debajit Sharma, the Director and Co-founder of ‘Abhinna’ is a researcher in the field of Folklore. He is having years of experiences in the field of teaching and course designing. He was working in Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysore on various capacities for twelve long years and was involved in different research projects mostly related to the field of developing teaching materials, language documentation and translation. He was the Recipient of DoRa International Scholarship, University of Tartu, Estonia in the Faculty of Philosophy as visiting Ph.D student. (In the Year 2015) He was a core member of many prestigious national and international projects like New Linguistic Survey of India (NLSI), National Translation Mission (NTM), Mediating Multilingualism (MM) etc. Dr. Sharma has numbers of published research papers and has experiences of presenting papers in national and international platforms.
